Leggings outfits

I can't remember if I ever posted a look with leggings before. Probably not because I rarely wear them outside the house. Except when I'm working out, but that doesn't count. Denim jackets are the whole different story, I love wearing them so much that the only time during my childhood when my Mom got angry with me has been when I wanted to outside in my denim jacket during the winter. I actually waited for her to go back into the kitchen when she explicitly said I can't wear it and then put in back on. In my defense ...

Pink on all black

The things you can wear in this weather, you can pretty much pair anything and it will be fine. Except the real summer wardrobe, although I did see people wear shorts during February. I would usually wear this jacket in colder weather, so I wouldn't be able to pair it with these boots, since they are for a bit warmer weather. If that makes any sense whatsoever. Although I did one post before with these exact boots and jacket, but it was a weirdly warm day as well. I do still love this 90s inspired outwear style, especially the puffer ...

Return of 90s boots

Ankle boots are the prettiest boots in my opinion. They look good with everything, even cropped pants, which is impossible for knee high boots. Well, maybe I love over the knee boots as much as I love ankle boots, but they go well with different outfits. As trends and styles are changing so are the types and models of ankle boots. At the beginning of 2010s biker boots and boots with zippers at unusual and more usual places were all the rage. Back then I got really into ankle boots with a reasonable heel and I got a pair of ...

Gray blazer

Second look with this blazer in two weeks. . It really is one of my favourite blazers, I like this cut that's structured and tailored but also not too tight. I love this look with blazers/jackets and skirts, even when they are not a part of a set (which is also cute, but gives you a different look). Back when I first did a post with this jacket I wrote how you can't wear it a lot during the year because it doesn't go well with any weather, turns out it is perfect for unusually warm winters. Read more »

Sunny weather

Don't you just love sunny days when it's supposed to be winter and all cold and gloomy. Any day when you can wear sunglasses for real is amazing in my book. . This time I thought to go with this simple look of a turtleneck (well, almost) sweater with a wool jacket because you can wear this type of outfits only when the winter is really warm. Any jeans that are not super skinny will go with the look, shorter leg ones are the best because you can pair them well with ankle boots. Speaking about the boots, these are ...

Two toned boots

I was never the biggest fan of suede boots, but I think I'm warming up to them. I like these mainly because of the heel length, this kind of high but not too high heel is my favourite when it comes to boots. Usually I wear ankle boots with such heel, still I liked these a lot because I thought they will look cute with boho dresses when the spring comes. That whole 70s dresses with chunky heel boots is right up my alley. What do you think about wearing black and brown together? When I first saw these boots ...

2020

First post in this year! I wish you all the best, a lots of happiness and great work ethic so you can turn all you plans into reality. If you make New Year's resolutions you've probably already made them by now. I don't usually make resolutions at the beginning of the year, like I mentioned in my New Year's posts before. Still, this year I thought it would be fun to try cooking more healthy recipes and to bake more. I love cooking, but I don't bake that much, which is already changing since I baked three batches of chocolate ...

Teddy coat & mom jeans

One coat you've probably been seeing everywhere is a teddy coat. It's my favourite coat for winter outfits for many reasons. Teddy coats are definitely one of the warmest and comfiest coats ever. You can just throw them on top of everything and they will make you warm. Not so sure it will look that elegant, but that's not what these coats are known for. As the decade is coming to an end (I know, sounds super scary .) it makes me think about the trends that will make this transition.Read more »

New Year's Lookbook: 80s dress

One interesting thing that happened in fashion this year is the big comeback of 80s dresses. I didn't expect for this trend to spread so fast, although I wore 80s dresses even before it was the trend. My favourite thing ever are retro dresses, or actual vintage dresses which is even better. Return of 80s dresses happened recently and, like I said, super fast and since then I started looking for a new 80s dress. Long sleeved ones looked the cutest and I got some that were really pretty, but not 80s enough in my opinion. Then I found this ...

New Year's Lookbook: sparkly blouse

Sparkly fabrics are probably one of the most festive things you can wear during the holidays. I wasn’t always that into sparkly stuff, especially not into wearing them. . But I guess even when you are not into them, you can make an exception during this season. I already wrote about lame fabric, in this post here. It’s a great choice when you don’t like sequins and similar shiny fabrics. Lame is different, because the sparkly tread is inter weaved with regular thread so it creates this rather pretty shiny fabric. It looks the best when shinny thread is combined with ...

New Year's Lookbook: black dress and velvet headband

For the first New Year's lookbook this year I thought it would be fun to incorporate one of the biggest trends from 2019., headbands. I'm really surprised how fast this trend has spread, yet again in the time of Internet and social media things do tend to spread a lot faster. Personally I love all of the hair trends and headbands are just the best. They keep your hair in place and look so good on, most of them remind me of 90s style hair, but in this newest reincarnation headbands are getting even bigger and more elaborate. I'm not ...

Styling ruffle dresses

How amazing is the fact that this December is so warm we can still wear dresses! Especially long sleeved dresses, which look so pretty and are season appropriate. Although there are great options for more wintry dresses as well, light fabric ones are still great for holiday parties and similar occasions. I actually have some ready for my New Year's lookbooks that are coming up next week! Until then here's a ruffle dress I ordered recently. Not so sure whether I'm a huge fan of ruffle dresses or not. I know it sounds strange considering I'm wearing one in this post ...

Oversized checked coat

Recently I rediscovered my love for oversized coats. They are the perfect autumn and winter style staple, especially in the last couple of years since the trend returned. What I learned from wearing my oversized camel coat is that they are super warm and easy to style with almost everything. When you are wearing those super tailored tighter coats sometimes you can't layer as much underneath them or they will look bulky. Oversized coats are quite roomy so you don't have this issue. Also, contrary to what I used to think, they do create a nice silhouette. It does help ...

Tweed skirt

Like I wrote in yesterday's post, next to corduroy skirts, tweed skirts go great with winter outfits as well. Although I think they all look stylish and beautiful, my favourite kind of tweed skirts are the ones in black and white like the skirt I'm wearing here. They remind me of old school skirt and blazer sets (which are also on trend right now). What makes tweed the perfect winter fabric is the fact that it's made of wool. Normally it's quite thick and warm so it's one of the warmest fabrics for skirts (besides actual wool). Read more »

Corduroy skirt

Way back I did a post about styling corduroy skirts in the spring. Naturally, the best time to wear corduroy is during the winter. . I got this black cord skirt recently and it's actually much easier to style it then my gray one. Anyways, since winter outfits tend to get a bit boring if you wear only pants and jeans, great way to make them interesting is with skirts. You ''usual'' winter skirts are either from tweed or corduroy. Tweed ones do look really pretty and classy as well. What I like about this one is the simple cut, ...

Green Therapy | 35mm

For quite some time, I wanted to publish a post filmed with an analog camera. Finally, my wish came to reality. I just love how beautiful the effect 35mm camera has. I love how it captures the raw moment and I love the colors. There's no need to put any filter on it. I definitely want to experiment more with analog camera and outfit posts. I would love to do editorial like photos with it.Read more »
